Emily Garner

Emily is the co-owner of McLaughlin Garner Group, a consultant business specializing in corporate, nonprofit and special occasion event planning and communications. Emily and her partner, Shannon McLaughlin serviced as event planners for Magnolia Moms to-be and Tween Talk. Emily has served as the Communications Director for the First Lady of Mississippi, the Director of Marketing & Communications for River Oaks Health System, the Director of Marketing & Public Relations for the American Red Cross of Central Mississippi and the Director of Professional Development for the Mississippi Pharmacists Association. A graduate of Mississippi University for Women with a B.S. degree in journalism and public relations, Garner is a member of the MUW Hall of Fame and is Past President of the MUW Alumni Association. Named by the Mississippi Business Journal as a member of the Top 40 Under 40 and 50 Leading Businesswomen.
