Netflix and chill goes to a whole new level when you are quarantined due to Coronavirus- COVID 19. Especially if you have school age children at home with you round the clock. I did some “research” with my 6 year old and 4 year old and came up with some good recommendations to get you through the coming weeks!
For pre-schoolers:
Word Party
Netflix Description: “Meet Bailey, Franny, Kip, and Lulu. They’re adorable baby animals, and they want you to join the party and help them learn!” My four year old son loved the animals in this show!
Go! Go! Cory Carson.
Netflix Description: “Beep, beep — go, go! Buckle up for fun and adventure with adorable kid car Cory Carson as he explores the winding roads of Bumperton Hills.” We all thought this was an adorable show. Great for all ages!
Llama Llama
Netflix Description: “Beloved children’s book character Llama Llama springs to life in this heartwarming series about family, friendship, and learning new things.”
For School Age Children and above:
Carmen Sandiego
Netflix Description: “A master thief who uses her skills for good, Carmen Sandiego travels the world foiling V.I.L.E.’s evil plans — with help from her savvy sidekicks.” Now there’s a newly released interactive feature!
The Boss Baby: Back in Business
Netflix Description: “The Boss Baby brings his big brother Tim to the office to teach him the art of business in this animated series sprung from the hit film.” Even I enjoyed the innuendos of this show! *Best for ages 7 and up.
The Last Kids on Earth
Netflix Description: “When zombies and monsters invade his hometown, a scrappy 13-year-old orphan teams up with his friends in hopes of surviving the chaos.” Appropriate for what we are currently experiencing, this is one of my personal favorites!
In BESTigators
Netflix Description: “Four clever school kids start their own detective agency and vlog about their adventures, becoming fast friends in the process.” A cool group of kids to follow!
